General Sessions at The Cable Show '08
The opening General Session will kick off The Cable Show at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, May 18. The session will feature a welcome by Convention Co-Chairs Debra Lee, Chairman & CEO, BET Holdings, Inc., and Rocco Commisso, Chairman & CEO, Mediacom Communications Corporation, as well as a state-of-the-industry speech by NCTA President and CEO, Kyle McSlarrow.
The General Session on Monday, May 19 – Bit by Bit: Convergence Creates the Future – will begin at 4:30 p.m. The panel will feature top executives discussing how cable and its technology allies are harnessing the vast power of IP technology to create the next generation of voice, video and data businesses.
Tuesday’s General Session - Getting Engaged: Advertising's Quest to Connect - will focus on advertising and is produced in conjunction with the Cabletelevision Advertising Bureau (CAB). The session kicks off at 9:30 am (CDT) on May 20.
